Die Deutschsprachige Mykologische Gesellschaft vergibt ein von der Firma MSD Sharp & Dohme gesponsertes klinisches Ausbildungsstipendium von 2.500,-- Euro für die Teilnahme am CBS Course Medical Mycology der vom 30.07. bis 10.08.2012 in Innsbruck, Österreich stattfindet.
Die Stipendiumsmittel sollen es der Stipendiatin/dem Stipendiaten ermöglichen, an diesem Kurs teilzunehmen. Bewerbungen mit Lebenslauf und einer kurzen Literaturliste sind bis zum 01.03.2012 an den

The International Society for Human and Animal Mycology (ISHAM), the
German Speaking Mycological Society (DMykG) and the DMykG foundation for
Research in Mycology are pleased to announce two unrestricted awards,
named
(sponsored by DMykG and ISHAM) and
(sponsored by DMykG foundation)
for young international scientists who have made outstanding contributions to medical mycology with a focus on research carried out between 2009 – 2011.
Purpose
The award will provide young and excellent investigators working in the field of mycology with an unrestricted grant of € 4,000, which will be presented at the ISHAM Congress in Berlin in June 11-16, 2012.
Eligibility criteria
Evaluations will be based primarily on outstanding written and/or oral contributions describing recent research in the field of mycology. Excellence in the form of contributions to clinical management, diagnostics and the management of nosocomial infections will also be considered. The selection of the award recipient will be based on independent peer-review of a detailed application. The nominee shall be born in 1967 or later and may have carried out research in any part of the world, in a university, research institute, hospital or other relevant
institution.
